Pharaoh the Egyptian leader, the Israelites he led
He could have made them happy, but made them slaves instead
God sent Aaron and Moses to set his people free
But Pharaoh wouldn’t let God's people flee

So God told Aaron to hit the river with his rod
And all the waters around them turned right into blood
The fish in the river died and there was no water to drink
The plague of blood really made that river stink!

Moses demanded “Let my people go”
But Pharaoh said no, he said no
The Lord sent ten plagues in a row
He still said no, he still said no
Moses demanded, let my people go!

God sent a plague of frogs that covered all the land
Made bugs from dusty winds blown straight from the sand
And through the Lord Aaron aimed his rod up to the sky
And sent a terrible plague of flies

The plague of sickness made the animals die
There was none left for work and no meat for food supply
Then the locusts came and ruined everything in sight
And three days of darkness fell over them like night

Moses demanded “Let my people go”
But Pharaoh said no, he said no
The Lord ten plagues in a row
He still said no, he still said no
Moses demanded, let my people go!

Then dirty air made the Egyptians unwell
They got boils that would itch, blister and swell
And when they thought this was the worst they ever saw
The tenth plague would be the worst of them all

At night the Lord swept Egypt and killed all the first born
The Israelites were spared with lambs blood on their doors
The Egyptians couldn't stop it, there was nowhere to run
Even the Pharaoh lost his first born son

Moses demanded “Let my people go”
But Pharaoh said no, he said no
The Lord sent ten plagues in a row
He still said no, he still said no

Moses demanded “Let my people go”
But Pharaoh said no, he said no
The Lord sent ten plagues in a row
He still said no, he still said no

Moses demanded, let my people go!
Let my people go!
Let my people go!
