Jesus was walking through a town
When 10 men with leprosy called him down
“Jesus have pity on us” they cried
“And set us free so we don’t have to hide”

 

“Show yourselves to the Priests”, Jesus said
And he healed them as they walked ahead

 

And he said…
Rise and go your faith has set your free
Rise and go to the Priests so they can see
Rise and go he said
Rise and go
Give thanks then rise and go

 

The ten men once again were healthy and strong
And jumped up and down as they walked along
But of all ten men that Jesus saved
Only one came back to give him praise

 

At Jesus’ feet he threw himself
And thanked him for his better health

 

And he said…
Rise and go your faith has set your free
Rise and go to the priests so they can see
Rise and go he said
Rise and go
Give thanks then rise and go

 

Jesus said “the other nine I do not see”
“No one else has returned to thank me”
He looked at the man who knelt below
And he said; “Rise and go, rise and go”

 

And he said…
