Teachers, believers come and see

See how children run to me

This is how we all should be

So let the children come to me

 

Some children ran to Jesus

Their parents let them go

They wanted him to bless them

But the disciples shouted no

They wanted them to stop

And leave Jesus alone

 

When they saw the children coming

They thought that it was bad

But Jesus heard them yelling

Which made him really mad

He called on his disciples

And said listen to me

 

Teachers, believers come and see

See how children run to me

This is how we all should be

So let the children come to me

 

So the disciples let them go

And to Jesus they all ran

He reached out his arms

And welcomed all of them

Placed his hand on their heads

And blessed them all

 

Jesus said to his disciples

As the children laughed and smiled

Heaven is for those

Who receive it like a child

Just like the children run to me

So should you
