Zechariah, ohh Zechariah and Elizabeth

Will have a baby boy

 

Zechariah lived a very good life

He loved the Lord and Elizabeth his wife

The pair were old and prayed for quite a while 

But they could never have their own child

 

He was alone in the Temple one day

An Angel appeared with something to say

The Angel said, “Do not be afraid,

These are the plans that the Lord has made"

 

"Your prayers have been answered

Your wife will have a baby boy

He will get the people ready

Ready for the 

Ready for The Lord"

 

"The Holy Spirit will be with your son

To clear the path for The Lord to come"

Zechariah was confused and asked

“How can I be so sure this will even happen to us?

 

My wife is old and after all these years

Could The Lord really make a child appear? 

The Angel said “God has sent me to you

To bring the good news you’ll find is true"

 

"Your prayers have been answered

Your wife will have a baby boy

He will get the people ready

Ready for the

Ready for The Lord"
